Kenlon P. Johnson
Kenlon Johnson is the president of the Forde Johnson Oil Company, Inc. (founded in 1936), which operates convenience stores, a truck stop, unattended commercial fueling sites, and car washes. They also supply fuel to other convenience store operators as well as commercial, agricultural, and home heating customers in the Idaho Falls and Pocatello area. He attended the University of Idaho, graduating with a B.S. degree in accounting.
Kenlon serves on the board of the Idaho Petroleum & Convenience Store Marketers Association (past president) and the Eastern Idaho Economic Development Council (past chairman). His other activities have included: trustee of the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, director of the Eastern Idaho Community Reuse Organization, director and chairman of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI), director of the Idaho Community Foundation, director and president of the Idaho State University Foundation, director and president of the Idaho Falls Rotary Club, director and president of the Western Petroleum Marketers Association, director of the Petroleum Marketers Association of America, director of the Bonneville County United Way and Idaho Falls Red Cross. He served as a director of West One Bank for 11 years and chaired the Audit Committee for seven years.
Kenlon and his wife, Carol, have two daughters, both living in San Francisco, California.
