Concerned About Quality of Care or Quality of Service?

The Quality Concerns Investigation Policy is the process Blue Cross of Idaho uses to investigate, review, track, trend, and if necessary, take action about member concerns related to the quality of care and quality of service received. 2014/2015 Clinical Practice Guidelines

Our Physician’s Advisory Panel reviews and annually endorses our Clinical Practice Guidelines. These practice guidelines are evidenced-based national guidelines for the treatment of medical and behavioral health conditions included in our Population Health, Quality, and Pharmacy programs. Annually, Blue Cross of Idaho measures practitioner adherence to clinical practice guidelines. The outcomes are analyzed and reviewed at Physician’s Advisory Panel with the intent to improve practitioner performance.
